My girlfriend and I spent the last two weeks in Italy. We started in Rome, where we visited the St. Peter's Basilica, the Vatican museums including works by Raphael and of course the Sistince Chapel with Michelangelo's ceiling, and various other interesting places. Especially impressive was Raphael's "Fornarina" in the National Gallery.
The next point of cultural interest was Florence with the Pitti Palace and the famous Uffici (the drawing exhibition was closed, though

) Very impressive was the Casa Buonarroti which had some exquisite original drawings by Michelangelo on display.
Unfortunately I didn't find much time to draw, but I obtained some very good books and tried to study the works of the old masters as good as I could.

This is the noise that keeps me awake, my head explodes and my body aches. Push it, make the beat go harder.
